About me...
Music has enriched my life. I was privileged to grow-up in a musical family in which my five siblings and I began piano lesson sat an early age with a wonderful teacher and mentor. I didn't realize how fortunate I was to have such a great teacher until I won a church music contest in grade school. My self-esteem and confidence got a big boost! My commitment to my weekly piano lesson also increased to a new level. Throughout middle school, high school and college, I was motivated to participate in more recitals and contests, and to accompany vocalists, instrumentalists and choirs. Currently, I belong to two national music teacher organizations where I gain great ideas from other music educators in the area. In addition to my Fall and Spring recitals, my membership in these organizations allows me to offer my students further stage experience in organization sponsored festivals. I'm always searching for new ideas and attend music workshops and conferences to further my professional development. I enjoy playing the organ for my church and accompanying singers and choirs. Music and teaching are my passions. I strive to be the best piano teacher that I can be!
